Privacy and cookie information

This page explains what HakoExport processes when you browse the site or send a quotation request, which storage is optional, and how to change your choice.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

Who is responsible

The site operator and contact details shown below identify who is responsible for this website and quotation process.

Quotation requests

We process the information you deliberately submit to answer the request, prepare an offer and maintain the resulting business correspondence. Sending a request never requires any optional consent.

  • Company and contact details, country and website
  • Product interest, target quantity and the message you send
  • The referenced product when the request starts from a product page
  • Security and delivery records needed to prevent abuse and deliver the form

Browser storage and cookies

Browser storage and cookies

Optional tracking data is not collected, and Google tags are not loaded, until you grant the corresponding choice. Current storage categories are:

he_consentNecessary · first party · HTTP-only cookie

Stores a signed record of analytics, sales-insight and advertising choices; it contains no contact identity.

180 days
he_sidSales insights · first party · HTTP-only session cookie

Stores a signed server-generated random session reference to measure consented product interest, tailor in-session suggestions and link those events to a quote request; it contains no contact identity.

Browser session; server signature expires after 24 hours
_ga, _ga_<container>Analytics · Google Analytics · first party

Distinguishes users and preserves session state only when GA4 is configured and analytics is accepted.

Google default: up to 2 years; browser limits may be shorter
_gcl_*Advertising · Google Ads · first party

Supports conversion attribution only when Google Ads is configured and advertising is accepted.

Typically up to 90 days; provider/browser limits may be shorter

How long data is kept

  • Raw first-party browsing events and anonymous session scores are automatically pruned after 90 days.
  • The consent preference expires after 180 days, after which a new choice is requested.
  • Quotation and customer correspondence is kept while the commercial relationship is active and afterwards only for applicable legal, accounting, dispute or defence periods.
  • Security records are kept only as long as needed to detect and investigate abuse.

Service providers and transfers

Hosting, network security, email and business-notification providers process only the data needed to run the service and handle requests. Google Analytics or Google Ads may receive data only for categories you accept and only when the corresponding ID is configured. A provider may process data outside your country under its applicable safeguards; contact us for the current provider list.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and may complain to a competent authority. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Change or withdraw consent

Use Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting a category stops new collection, clears accessible optional cookies and removes the first-party tracking session from this browser. A site operator cannot remove third-party cookies set on another domain; those can also be cleared in browser settings.
